Week 7 – Positivity Links
This week we create recordings. Above is one I did for fun. It combines two of my favorite affirmations. I hum or sing it whenever I am confronted with an opportunity to be negative. That's the law of substitution at work.
Linking My Sources
In the Master Key Experience, we have many pieces of source material. There is, of course, the Master Key System by Charles Haanel. Each Week we get to meditate on one of the 24 lessons. In Week 7, we learned about the hard mental labor necessary to visualize our future. Idealization leads to Visualization which leads to Materialization.
Another of our sources is the book, The Greatest Salesman in the World by Og Mandino. This week we are on Scroll II, where we learn that love is the greatest secret of success in all ventures. WE have specific instructions for how to speak, address others, and care for ourselves.
Emerson's essay on compensation is yet another place that we learn to give more to get more.
Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill furnishes us with the Blueprint Builder. Point 5 reminds us that no wealth or position can long endure unless built upon truth and justice. This is "win-win" before Steven Covey. We also develop love for all mankind to eliminate destructive attitudes because we know that a negative attitude can never bring us success.
Our exercise this week is to eliminate negative thoughts by following the Seven Day Mental Diet. Emmet Fox tells us to substitute positive thoughts for negative ones in seven seconds or less, or we must start over. The challenge is to string seven consecutive days together without dwelling on negative thoughts. We are training our brains.
