2019 MKE Week Nine Flowers
The Bible promises that "While the earth remains, seed time and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease." (Genesis 8:22). It speaks of cycles. For this week, let's consider seed time and harvest. You plant a seed and it grows. It always grows what you plant. Apple seeds yield an apple tree. Corn seeds yield corn, and so on. There are some logical rules about the harvest:
- The harvest depends on the seeds planted.
- The harvest comes after the seeds are planted.
- The harvest is more than the seeds.
What do seeds have to do with your DMP?
There is a metaphor based on the Laws of the Mind, specifically the Law of Growth and the Law of the Subconscious. Your thoughts are seeds. Thoughts become things. If you hold a thought in your mind, it will begin to produce what you are thinking. There are some impediments as discussed by the Master in this parable:
Behold, a sower went forth to sow; 4 And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up: 5 Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth: 6 And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away. 7 And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them: 8 But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.
The Master's Explanation
Notice that the undisturbed seed produces 30, 60 or 100 times what was planted.
The exercise of visualizing a flower growing from a seed is intended to give you confidence that what you hold in your mind will eventually become reality.
As week 9 of the Master Key Experience draws to end, I’ve been taking stock of the last 9 weeks and what we have been learning and understanding the massive shifts that I have been experiencing. I know for some people it can take longer for them to start to experience the things I have been experiencing, on the other hand some people I have no doubt will of had shifts which happened well before me. We all learn at different speeds and with slightly different learning patterns, what makes this course stand way out ahead of the rest of the courses I have taken over the years, is they have you covered however you learn things, they understand every one is slightly different in that way.
Realy enjoyed practicing the law of substitution this week to replace negative thoughts with the positive ones. Still, I haven’t done 7 days of positive mental diet but I am getting better and better with it. The affirmation of “I am whole, perfect, strong, powerful, loving, harmonious and happy” has been very powerful for me. It has affected my mind more than I thought it would. I loved doing the visualization exercise this week during my sit. It was an interesting experience to “craft” things with my mind and felt very empowering. I also get so many new ideas during my sits – almost like the universe is sending me “tools” to achieve my DMP.
